King John I is the seventh King of the Kingdom of Talossa, and is the head of the current House of Lupul.

Immigration

King John I began his immigration process on approximately 22 April 2005 and became a naturalised citizen of Talossa on 7 May 2005, becoming a citizen of Florencia.

Political Life

Soon after becomeing a naturalised citizen, the then John Woolley was quickly thrust into Talossa's political landscape. Only a year after the formation of the Republic, Talossa had quickly bounced back, headed by Sir Fritz von Buchholtz. With the election of Sir Fritz to prime minister, S:reu John was appointed Secretár d'Estat (English: Secretary of State) and thus assumed his first political role in the Kingdom of Talossa. Since then, before becoming King, S:reu John has served on the Florencian Nimlet, a MC in the session of the 34th and 35th Cosas, and senator of Florencia from December 2005 to March 2007.

Achievements

King John I, though not one of the most decorated in Talossan history, as assended position from that of a simple citizen, to politician, and now to King. On 30 November 2005, only six months after his immigration, S:reu John was decorated with the prestigeous l'Urðëri dal Naziun (English: Order of the Nation) order of knighthood.

In addition to being decorated with Knighthood, King John has made many contributions to the Talossan language, College of Arms, and GZTZ, all of which are institutions he is in, or were a part of.

Cultural Awareness

King John has been active in the cultural life of Talossa for nearly his entire stay in Talossa. Since immigrating, he has become (or been) a member of the Royal Talossan Bar, the first Blanc Wolf Herald of Arms of the College of Arms, a member of the GZTZ, and a member of the CÚG.

Currently, King John is a member of the GZTZ and was just granted full membership rights to the CÚG.

Assension to the Throne

After the interregnum following King Louis I's abdication of the throne, His Majesty King John I was elected successor by popular vote of the Cosa, Senäts, and ratified by citizens of the Kingdom of Talossa. On 14 March 2007 King John I assended the Talossan Throne and has held the thone since. King John is the first in the line of the House of Lupul.

Today

King John I remains an active citizen today through his role as King and membership in various cultural institutions. He has taken measures to prevent such tyranical reigns as that of King Robert I by introducing bills to the Ziu limiting his own very power. King John I still contributes to the College of Arms with writing blazons for various Coat of Arms requests and aids the CÚG with his knowledge of Talossan.
